I have a 81 Chevette, bought in South Carolina about 15 years ago. Runs and drives good. Air Conditioning and automatic trans and weak 1.8. Smokes to much but I get it out every summer for a drive.
Always been thinking about engine swap, but everybody has done small block v8 on some 4.3 v6.
Now looking at the eco tech family of engines. Now can get RWD transmissions,real good hp and computer controlled.
I can envision something that could be put togather and look like it belongs.Alot of the swaps I've seen have the appearance of cutting torch until it goes in.
2.0l turbo engine, not sure of auto or stick trans. 150 to 175 hp .
What does anybody on here think@
