This car had status for years just sitting in the neighborhood. I know of four of us that all had an eye on it. When the time finally arrived when it sold my neighbor bought it. It was sixteen blocks away so we pulled it to his house with a tow strap. He did a bunch of work on it and the way it looks right now is how I got it a few days ago. The VIN is 1B68J8Y346210 Original color was silver. No battery but it supposedly does have a rod knock. I haven't heard it run lately. ...that spot on the hatch was where a brick landed.

It actually looks like It's pretty solid. I spy some other old cars in the background too. Looks like it's gone to a good home.

...my 69 Malibu Sports Sedan? There's still a way to go with it but it has a charm all its own. First the Chevette's got to find its way across the street for a look-see before I make a decision about it. But I know I'm not the only one who gets an engine then finds a car for it...

Wow man you have some bad luck to get 2 cars taken out at the same time. I can only imagine how screwed you will get for the insurance company. That also must be a ruff neighborhood if you can get shot and killed just driving down the street.

...it is a tough 'hood. Just like all neighborhoods just off our military bases. So if anyone needs anything off the Chevette before holler before it's too late...
