I have a 1984 chevrolet chevette, and the rear end is gone on it. I need bearings for it but i cant get them anywhere. I was just wondering is there any rear ends that will fot my car or does it have to come off a 1984 chevette

Only a Chevette rear end is a direct bolt in. As for parts, I'd start by sending an email to Rick Drake, chevette.biz/ or possibly there's something on ebay. Sorry I'm not much help, I can't find parts either.

Any year Chevette rear /should/ bolt in, to my knowledge.

Opel gt/kadett rear ends come very close to bolting in too, the panhard bar is mounted on the opposite side and they take a different size u-joint... But they are a stronger axle with more gear ratio choices... But yeah like he said, any year should be fine.
