Hello, I heard that a lot of the Subaru's have a problem with engine oil consumption and is eating up a good amount of oil. Making it harder to maintain and not so wallet friendly on oil changes and therefore having to buy extra oil to put in the engine in-between oil changes. I am interested in buying/getting the Crosstrek XV. But I heard the oil consumption problem is pretty much rampant across most of Subaru's models whether it be impreza, forester, outback or crosstrek. Did a little research and this problem seems to be very common and is something a lot of Subaru owners are complaining about! Please help Thanks I didn't find the right solution from the Internet References: www.snowboardingforum.com/snowboarding-generalTechnology Explainer Video

I know any opposed engine has leaks at the valve covers: VW Porsche Corvair; even Lycoming/Continental aircraft engines.
