OK, so I am VERY new to all of this so bear with me PLEASE .......
UPDATE.......The wing window hinges that were bad have been replaced with brand new ones !!!! Other than possibly the muffler, this car is READY to go see the inspection mechanic for a sticker !
I have a 1985 Chevette for sale. 2 door, automatic, this car has 41,000 ORIGINAL miles on it (verified by a service record I obtained from the dealer where the car went for service and inspections) !!!!! My mom bought it form the ORIGINAL owner. The car was garaged with a bed sheet cover over it most of its life. My mom maybe drove the car 6-8 months and decided she wanted a small truck, so at that point I took over the car, brought it to my place in Carlisle, Pa, put it in my carport, and that's where its been ever since. I go out once in a while and fire it up and let it run a little. The car has had the passenger side front fender replaced. Someone backed into it in a parking lot when the original owner had it. Unfortunately, the paint on the new fender isn't an EXACT match to the rest of the car. (its a few shades off). One other issue is the side window HINGES on the passenger side disintegrated. I replaced the driver side shortly after my mom bought it. (the window is held in place with a makeshift brace I made for it, fits very snug, just needs to have new hinges on that side). Oh, and the muffler will need replaced. It leaks, NOTHING bad by any means, not even loud, but you can hear it. The car DOES have A/C. (just needs charged). The car is OUT of inspection but was only driven approx 1,700 miles since last inspection. Tires are in great shape as are the brakes. I have pics of the rear brakes with the drums off.
I have a video of it on youtube ......
I also have it listed on "offerup" ... offerup.com/item/detail/102204093/1985-chevy-chevette
The price is $3,000 and I can be reached by calling or text (preferred) at 717- 4 four 8 - two 2 eight 4
PLEASE feel free to ask ANY questions.
I tried to post some pics on here but keep getting a message that the file is too big and have no clue how to fix that.
